Please tell me a bit about yourself
My passion is the energy industry! I’ve worked in HR, administration and recruitment for many years. I hold a BA in Sociology and courses in negotiation techniques from BI Norwegian Business School.
What is your role and what do you do?
I will be working closely with the country manager Maiken Ege Nielsen to develop Applica’s presence in Norway. Essentially I will be looking after our existing clients but I will be looking to develop new business opportunities. My day to day tasks will be keeping our Norwegian A-Team of contractors happy, as well as expanding our candidate network.
What do enjoy most about working with Applica?
It is the culture of trust. I’m working in a field that I really enjoy, the team is supportive. I’m trusted to ‘get on with it’ and be creative. I’m meeting new people everyday, it’s a great fit for me.
Why did you choose to work with Applica?
Honestly, I really like the values and the fact that it was a value driven company. The entire team emphasises the importance of people. This really resonates with my values and I’m looking forward to working with everyone.
Tell me something not many people know about you
I played the violin from 1st to 6th grade! I’ve heard a few people are musical at Applica so maybe we could start a band!
